We are going to experiment with discussion forums and see how things go.

I very much want to foster discussion and get knowledge and ideas bouncing around. However, I have concerns about the moderation workload that may be imposed, as well as the degree to which we’ll see uncivil conversation and whether that distracts from the fundamental message of this project. But, that is indeed one of the core issues we’re trying to improve, so where better than here to dive right into it?

We’ll start with just a “general thoughts” forum and potentially get more granular from there. See how it goes…
